Cost Analyst
Our client, an international company based in Leuven is currently looking for a Cost Analyst.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate standard cost rate development in line with regional/global budget plan:
o Manage standard cost calculation and coordinate activities with different stakeholders.
(Purchasing, Schedulers, Local- Regional Finance)
o Align regional costing schedule with manufacturing sites and global schedule.
o Provide tools for operating functions and/or Finance to efficiently validate and review.
o Address opportunities and process improvements to Regional Controller and or Cost Council.
o Ensure standard cost for all supply chain inventory transaction.
Control and analyze manufacturing and variance accounting entries:
o Ensure periodic variance reviews and co-ordination with site production schedulers.
Perform monthly inventory reconciliation (ERP sub-ledger to general ledger):
o Investigate and review various inventory transactional issues.?
o Co-ordinate inventory cut-off activities and month-end accounting activities with relevant stakeholders (schedulers, local finance).
Calculate and analyze monthly capitalization of variances:
o Provide inputs to and perform calculation of the capitalization of variances.
o Ensure a solid variance review with all stakeholders and ensure consistency with global policy and procedure.
o Review and communicate capitalization of variances metrics.
Coordinate and issue transfer prices for the inter-company sales and review transfer price evolution:
o Calculate transfer prices according to agreed methodology.
o Work with relevant parties to resolve margin issues.
o Actively seek for process improvements in the TP processes.
Profile:
A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related industrial field.?
2 – 5 years of progressive responsibility in financial /?business /?operations analysis.
Experience in an industrial /?manufacturing environment.
